The Village Walls 12428 was a spring experiment to give local artists an opportunity to do a large scale painting or shallow installation on 4’x8′ plywood fence panels in the backyard. The rest was a collaborative mixed media showcase in a variety of mediums – from acrylic, spray paint, mod podge, wheat paste, plaster, indigo, and even framed cabbage patch kids and doll heads. We let the community choose their own adventure to bring color and texture to the backyard in preparation for Upstate Art Weekend
